POLICIES AND BOUNDARIES
Health and safety policy:

During the process of counselling, we will ensure that there is no harm caused to the client during any sessions.

The client will not be put under-pressure by the counsellor and instead will be patient throughout.

The client will be entitled to complete a contract before any counselling sessions, so that the counsellor is aware of their following client.
Confidentiality:

The counselling sessions will be carried out one-to-one in a counselling practice or online, ensuring that no distractions are being made.

The counsellor will be taking notes during the session to keep a record of each session.

The counsellor will not be able to talk about the clients' problems outside of the sessions. All questions must be asked during the time with the counsellor, unless if needed immediately.
Boundaries:

There will be no other relationship between the counsellor and client outside of the counselling practise.

The client must make sure that no further discussions are made outside of the counselling sessions.

Any questions wished to be asked must be kept held until the next session.

The client and the counsellor are required to keep a safe distance during any session. This is to avoid any distress to the client.
Cancellation Policy:

PHT Counselling allows you to make changes to any session within a 48 hours notice.

Any cancelations not made within the given time, will not be granted.
-
Any sessions cancelled by the counsellor will be notified to the client as soon as possible and therefore will also ensure that further arrangements are made.

Any further problems during the counselling sessions, before or after, must be notified to the counsellor.
